Follow these steps
- Detangle; Use a wide-tooth comb to carefully detangle the hair by combing from root to tip. Be careful not to drag or pull the fiber. (NOTE; braided wigs don’t need combing).
- Wash and Rinse; Put a reasonable amount of cold or lukewarm (do not use hot water, it can destroy the fiber) water in a bowl. Mix shampoo into the water. Immerse your wig and allow it to soak for a few minutes. Later, Remove wig from shampoo water and immerse it in a fresh bowl of cold water (do not squeeze as it may cause the wig to tangle)
- Condition; Directly apply conditioner to your wig, stroking downwards from root to tip and leave in for about five minutes. Rinse by immersing wig once more in fresh cold water.
- Dry; Place the wig on a dryer to dry naturally never squeeze or rub your wig while drying. You can towel dry as well but it will not soak all the water completely. Be careful not to tangle your wig in the process
When your wig is completely dry, gently shake the wig to regain its style or lightly style it with a wig comb or your fingers and you are all set to rock your wig once more.
